Submitted Media and Digital Content

Submitted media may contain images, voices, names, dates, locations, or other information relating to you or other individuals. We access and process this content only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested digitization, transfer, storage, quality-control, delivery, and customer-support services.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority or permission required to submit the media and authorize us to process its contents.

Payment Information

Payments are processed through Shopify and applicable payment-service providers. Depending on the payment method, these providers may collect payment-card details, billing information, and transaction information directly from you.

Precision Transfers may receive limited payment and transaction information, such as payment status, transaction identifiers, billing details, and the last digits of a payment card. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy policies and security practices.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as:

  • your Internet Protocol address;

  • referring website;
  • pages viewed;

When information is processed in another jurisdiction, it may be subject to that jurisdiction’s laws and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement agencies, or government authorities in accordance with those laws.

Precision Transfers remains accountable for personal information transferred to service providers for processing. We use contractual or other appropriate measures intended to provide a comparable level of protection while the information is being processed.

10. Retention of Personal Information and Digital Files

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • complete the purposes for which it was collected;
  • provide requested services;
  • maintain required business and transaction records;

  • enforce agreements; and
  • satisfy legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, insurance, or security requirements.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

Digital files created from submitted media may be retained temporarily for quality control, customer delivery, backup, or service recovery. Unless a different period is stated in your order or service agreement, completed digital files are generally retained for up to six months following completion of the order.

If you purchase an extended hosting or storage service, files may be retained for the period associated with that service.

At the end of the applicable retention period, information will be securely deleted, destroyed, or anonymized, subject to technical, legal, and operational limitations.

Customers should download and maintain their own backup copies of completed files. Precision Transfers should not be treated as a permanent archive unless a separate storage service has been purchased.

11. Safeguards

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal information in our care.

These measures may include:

  • restricted access to customer information and submitted media;
  • secure facilities and media-handling procedures;
  • authentication and access controls;
  • encryption during transmission where appropriate;

  • backups and security monitoring; and

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Although we take reasonable steps to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Deleting an account or withdrawing consent may not immediately remove information from backups, archival systems, or records that we are legally required to retain.
